
Fahad Al-Maimani
Omani Filmmaker and Academic
Fahad bin Ramadan Al-Maimani, an Omani filmmaker and academic, and a graduate of the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom with a specialization in Media, where he completed his Master’s thesis in Filmmaking. Alongside his academic role at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Muscat, he serves as a Board Member of the Oman Film Society and heads its Committee for Local and International Cooperation. He is the founder of the Aks University Film Festival and the Aks Short Films Platform, in addition to his filmmaking contributions that have received awards and recognition at various Arab and international film festivals.

Egyptian director, Editor and Distributor
He has edited over 20 short films and feature documentaries. He directed two short films both of which garnered international acclaim in prestigious festivals and his latest short films sound scape was taught in sacre coeur university in milano. He was selected in prestigious programs such as Durban Talents, Beirut
Talents and beirut locarno industry academy. Co-founder and managing director of I Am a Film.
As a producer and distributor, Bahaa has supported numerous films through
his company. Worked in some festivals as programmer and was the general coordinator of
the short film competition of Cairo international film festival.
